Aberdaron is a beautiful and unspoilt village at the very end of the Llŷn peninsula, offering the opportunity for stunning coastline and beach walks, together with any number of other outdoor activities ranging from cycling, sailing, kayaking, swimming, surfing and fishing.

Glandwr is a modernised light and airy old fisherman's cottage in the absolute heart of the village, directly opposite the church, slipway and pubs, with immediate access to the award winning beach and sea.

The cottage, which occupies a southerly facing location with superb views over the bay, beach and 13th century church, has all modern facilities, having been refurbished extensively.

Glandwr has been converted to accommodate 6 persons in one double room and two rooms with bunk beds.

The beach is safe for swimming, sailing, kayaking, fishing and surfing, as well as an ideal starting point for some of the many beautiful beach and cliff walks, many of which can link in with the Edge of Wales Walk and Llŷn Coast path. 

The village provides a wonderful starting point to explore the Wales Coastal Path, and a  with the holy and iconic island of Bardsey, which lies at the end of the peninsula, with its unique birdlife and seal colony.

All the main village facilities (the two pubs, shops, and cafes) are within a minute's walk, together with the new and impressive flagship National Trust visitor centre.

There is a combi gas boiler providing central heating for the entire cottage, and hot water on demand.
In addition there is a log burner in the lounge providing homely warmth when necessary.

There is a patio at the front of the property overlooking the beach, slipway and St Hywyn’s Church, with outside chairs provided, and is ideal for sitting in the sun, gazing out to sea and watching the world go by.

The cottage has an associated boat shed providing private car parking spaces in an area in the centre of the village, no more than two minutes walk away.
